@VidMasterEon @Terry idk about any other Christian sects but in mormonism they actually straight up teach that it WAS the romans, not the jews, and if you say anything bad about the jews you'll often hear "but Jesus was a jew."

@Lavaearth @Terry @VidMasterEon pilate believed Jesus did nothing wrong but only crucified Him because of the angry Jewish mob, who straight up said they didn't care if their entire lineage was cursed forever because of it. That's why pilate washed his hands, because while he could have said no it would have meant mass destruction so he did what the people wanted.
