@beardalaxy Not me but the LTT backpack looks very useful and high quality

@beardalaxy
That's like 4 Swiss Gear bags, and mine's lasted ten years so far.

@r000t my $20 backpack from target has lasted like 15 years at this point and i treat that thing like crap. it's my gig bag, it's what i use for hiking, and it's what i used for 4 years of school.

@r000t i've got another string backpack i've had for the same amount of time and put through pretty much the same amount of abuse lol, that's why i'm thinking like, do you actually need a backpack that is that expensive unless you're going on like 3-day hikes and stuff?

@beardalaxy not for that i'm not.

i've seen some very nice hiking bags that were like 100$ though

@icedquinn@blob.cat @beardalaxy@gameliberty.club That one apparently got semi shit on. There are nice ~$200+ bags out there, but unless you have excess cash or a legit need (business expense) you probably don't need them.

@miscbrains @beardalaxy it looks like its just a personality cash grab yeah.

for 200$ i would expect very high quality material, good weight distribution harness or so.

@beardalaxy I know somebody who bought a Starlink recently. They were looking at the accessories Starlink sells to go along with it, and they have an option for a Backpack to carry the setup around in.

The price of the backpack? $250
