I was wondering, why I hated that line, and only recently did I see it.

I feel no shame from my ancestors. I don't care is I disappoint them, because their life won't be affected by my actions.

The only people I do care about are my descendants. They are in fact the people I cannot bear the thought of disappointing.

And considering, how many times I saw this picture, It's good to know I'm not entirely alone.
