@justnormalkorean @Shadowman311 2023 is the year that any and all game optimization just went straight out the fucking window. if you need a 1080ti to play starfield at minimum settings that's just fucked.

@beardalaxy @justnormalkorean @Shadowman311 yeah apparently in 2023 you need more than a gt1050 to play a fucking isometric 2d arpg [or grinding gear games can't graphics render their way out of a fucking noodle bowl] yet both nier games run perfectly fine on it, and torchlight infinite [china I know but its good] runs on fucking phones and pc

still ain't giving bethesda money tho.

@memeextremist @justnormalkorean @Shadowman311 I'm gonna play it on game pass day 1 just because I think it'll be funny. But I don't actually buy the game until it is stable and there are some serious mods for it.

@beardalaxy @justnormalkorean @Shadowman311 yeah it's sad that the first few months a game comes out are actually the beta these days. consolefags get it the worst too because very few mods or none

@memeextremist @justnormalkorean @Shadowman311 this is why, despite Nintendo being shit with their consumer relations, are still such a celebrated game company. They make really good games that work when they come out and they have been doing that ever since the first Mario game.

@justnormalkorean @memeextremist @Shadowman311 i knew someone was gonna' say it, but pokemon isn't a nintendo game. they just own 1/3 of the franchise, the other 2 owners being creatures and gamefreak. gamefreak has their office in the same building as nintendo but they aren't owned by nintendo at all. pokemon isn't technically an in-house game and that's the stuff i'm referring to :)

@beardalaxy @memeextremist @Shadowman311 they're effectively a first party studio since Game Freak only makes Pokemon games on Nintendo platforms.

@justnormalkorean @memeextremist @Shadowman311 they only CAN make pokemon games on nintendo platforms because nintendo owns a part of the franchise lol, that's basically the deal.

gamefreak makes other games. they're also either shit or painfully mediocre. i don't consider them a first party, they just make one first party game.

what i mean when i say "nintendo games" are games that are developed in-house by their development teams within Nintendo EPD.

@beardalaxy @memeextremist @Shadowman311 Since nintendo owns the franchise it's a first party game then. I don't see the issue. They should be able to keep their shit up to snuff.

@justnormalkorean @memeextremist @Shadowman311 lol it's like the opposite problem bethesda has where games like DOOM and Evil Within are great but aren't actually developed by them
