@victor @gh0st1984 @Bead @CatLord @Dan_Hulson @Eiswald @Fash-E @WeissenSocken88 @RehnSturm256 what is that?

for context, I do not have a clue how any of this works. the other computer had an nvidia card and i could just click up the menu and hit record with it

@ChurnHinge @victor @gh0st1984 @Bead @CatLord @Dan_Hulson @Eiswald @Fash-E @WeissenSocken88 look up a tutorial for OBS, even I used that (free version) and I am tech illiterate. It lets you record/stream what you capture.

@RehnSturm256 @victor @gh0st1984 @Bead @CatLord @ChurnHinge @Dan_Hulson @Eiswald @Fash-E @WeissenSocken88 another vote for OBS. Very powerful. Very elegant. Very easy to use. Clearly designed by smart people for smart people.

@DrRyanSkelton @victor @gh0st1984 @Bead @CatLord @ChurnHinge @Dan_Hulson @Eiswald @Fash-E @WeissenSocken88 @RehnSturm256 make sure you get OBS studio instead of just the regular OBS and make sure you download it from the real website. Idk if you can record with amd cards or not, but by default OBS is set up to use your cpu anyway.

@Bead @victor @gh0st1984 @DrRyanSkelton @CatLord @ChurnHinge @Dan_Hulson @Eiswald @Fash-E @WeissenSocken88 @RehnSturm256 I meant using like, gpu encoding. I've never had an AMD card so I don't know what the amd equivalent to nvenc is.
