@Mr_NutterButter God specifically told them not to eat the fruit. Eve was tempted into doing it, and then tempted Adam into doing it as well. She's not evil, she's human, as well as Adam. That's the main takeaway for me.

Even the people who had direct connection still disobeyed God and He knew they would, in fact it was meant to happen eventually. We can go through suffering quite easily, but people in paradise cannot. Suffering is part of the human condition. When Adam and Eve lost immortality, they gained humanity, which is arguably more important.

I'm assuming that most of the people who do these portrayals like this are either not Christian or they have absorbed ideas from their surrounding culture and applied it to Eve haphazardly.
