@Mr_NutterButter Trying to explain this is why people always end up thinking that there must be some sort of higher power that created it all. Where did that higher power come from though, and why? Those are questions we don't really need answers for, I don't think.

A lot of people think the big bang is what started it all off, but it leaves the question... what caused the big bang?

I honestly don't look at "time" as really existing on a grand scale. It's useful for humans to measure things, but that's really all it is... just a unit of measurement. It's the state matter was in at a given moment that we can quantify somehow. I think that time travel would really only be possible if we found a way to reverse the flow of matter, but it would have to be on a MASSIVE scale and it would probably end up being used for stuff like de-aging and repairing things. And then, like... nothing would really have any temporal state of being so nothing would really actually matter. I don't think it'll ever happen. Bit of a tangent but yeah lol.
