the average person is actually too stupid to legitimately understand the epstein files
everyone knows epstein was a bad guy, so they immediately assume that literally anything in those emails has to be related to something bad. people are making massive leaps in logic to come to conclusions that are likely far worse than what is actually being displayed.
epstein is bad, obviously, we all know that, but the thing about villains in real life is that they are still people. epstein didn't have a mountain with a massive skull carved into it that exuded dark energy that could only be dispelled by he-man or some shit.
take example 1, for instance. i'm seeing people say that "140 - coney island" in this email is code for a 14 year old boy that epstein and his brother are talking about. no, it's literally just them talking about the invention of hot dogs on coney island 140 years ago. who the fuck knows why, but that's what it is. the link isn't some weird sinister shit, it's just a local news website that is still running to this day. unfortunately that specific article isn't on the wayback machine, but i'm pretty sure it's talking about hot dogs and coney island.
then you have example 2, where people see =9 and see it as referring to a 9 year old. if they have seen the other files, they'll know that the = sign shows up a lot as a substitute for other letters and numbers at random, likely due to some weird formatting error. this exact email is present in another location in the files with the formatting intact to show it is a 19 year old being talked about: https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00659212.pdf
i'm beginning to wonder if these files really SHOULDN'T have been released. there's so much slop that can be so easily misinterpreted while there are other problems in the US and in the world in general that are more immediate threats to a massive amount of people. it all seems like a distraction and a lot of political theater. it'd be better if the DOJ could actually hunt these people down, charge them, and release the relevant documents for those cases to the public instead of just uncovering literally everything epstein ever did online.
@beardalaxy I get what you mean I mean you know that legendary quote.
All you need is 5 minutes with the average voter to hate democracy.
But at least from my point of view I guess this is a somewhat accelerationist technically.
It's accelerating people's hatred and stress of the system which will cause even more instability causing for irreparable change.
Because no matter what. If you shake the box enough there will be something drastic.
Currently every single system is collapsing in on itself due to sheer incompetence or extreme corruption that this entire thing just needs to fall to allow something new to be built for at least reconstructed in the shadow of its former failure.
@Mr_NutterButter it definitely is acceleration. though, if everything is bound to crumble, i would prefer that the replacement for the system is not this dumb.
@beardalaxy I would prefer the Chinese method. Which is to have a dynasty or world power collapse and then have the new vacuum filled / reclaiming the mandate of heaven by fixing what the previous system lacked that caused this initial collapse.
But sadly I don't think we're going to get something that clean which is why this is even more painful because us and our kids are probably going to live through the most drawn out the collapse seen in the world.
@Mr_NutterButter in my opinion, the US (and probably a lot of Europe as well) will most likely die a slow death as it is consumed by other countries and cultures. i think the only way we truly get out of that is if we get a bunch of people with actual power who no longer give a fuck about the rules and just go scorched earth, martyr style, to push it back another 100 years. maybe not quite another hitler, or even a vlad the impaler, but someone like them relative to the current political climate. someone who will be widely hated for crazy actions but will ultimately end up making our lives better. i thought trump was going to be that guy back in 2016 but he's proven himself to be kind of a pussy.
@beardalaxy yeah we can hope I mean I knew that Trump would be the better choice but I knew he would never actually do what he needed to do because I knew he was bought out.
And sadly I think that we are coming to a point where the Overton window will radically shift between extreme right and far left until something eventually gives.
It seems like the left wing broke the right wing for almost a hundred years ideologically and it looks like the right wing has been gathering its strength to come back and hit with as much forces humanly possible to destroy the left for what it did but we don't really know for certain if the right has a conviction to do so.
The world has become so complicated and with so many enticed interests that it's unpredictable what will actually happen. Only thing I can say is enjoy the ride!

the average person is actually too stupid to legitimately understand the epstein files
The vast majority of people on the internet are functionally illiterate: they have average intellect, enough to know how to operate the machine, but not enough to know how or why the machine actually works. This was intended to confuse the niggercattle and memoryhole anything that happens or will happen in the meantime :kanna_sigh:maybe people like haven't been around on the internet for very long or just haven't been alive for long enough, but sending emails to just casually talk to people in 2010 was still pretty damn common
Dude, I still have longass thread convos with my friends in my old gmail account because IM services sucked way too much back then, and they were deep conversations, the kind you'd find in forums... I miss those days :kek_pain:@beardalaxy additionally people are forgetting that these messages are from an old man so he's treating these emails like how you would text messages.
He probably see something on TV decides to message someone that he knows famous in the field or just talking about random things.
He had no concern about security so he wouldn't talk and coded language really when he was doing something nefarious and when he was all the coded words or the exact same so you don't really have to speculate.
The average person truly is retarded.
Democracy is demonstrably a failure.
@Mr_NutterButter yeah that's straight up what i just replied to this post with haha! an old dude forwarding an email about an article to his brother in 2010 seems pretty fuckin normal to me.
i've noticed a lot of people just don't seem to know how to read emails (anymore) too. i've even gotten a bit tripped up reading these from time to time. like, who is emailing who, where is the forwarded message going, etc. i saw people saying that epstein was the one talking about indoctrinating kids into microtransactions but it was the person he sent bobby kotick's email to that said that, some pablos guy or whatever his name was.

@pettanko for the most part, people seem to at least be posting the links to the pdfs, but yeah i'm sure there are some like that floating around.

@beardalaxy I'd say take everything with a grain of salt, even if you read the entire thing. For all we know, the government probably made all of this up and the real story is still hidden from us.

also, maybe people like haven't been around on the internet for very long or just haven't been alive for long enough, but sending emails to just casually talk to people in 2010 was still pretty damn common. it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if a 57 year old dude was emailing his brother about a hot dog article that somebody had sent him.
