People have been freaking out about Google making it so you can't sideload apps on Android anymore, except.... You totally can? You just gotta click a few buttons, wait a day, and bada bing bada boom. Back to being able to sideload. This is why I don't trust anything on the internet anymore man, even from people I generally like. I bet half of you fuckers still think every Switch 2 game is a game key card.
@beardalaxy I get having to go into the options to explicitly allow sideloading so that grandma or little Timmy don't accidentally install 15 Indian crypto miners, but I don't understand the wait a day thing.
It doesn't seem to reasonably prevent anything and that arbitrary nature is what makes me weary of Google (plus them being generally untrustworthy).

@inTrax it is annoying for sure, but it isn't the end of the world. when i get the update i'll just go in and do it real quick so i don't have to worry about it when i want to install something. maybe it's to give grandma extra time to potentially tell her grandson about it so he can fix it lol idk.
