@Inginsub yeah i think lately he got a bit pretentious, and i unfollowed him when he started trying to appeal to NFT bros.
@Inginsub i can't really think on a reason why he made this series again but just to milk a quick buck out of the new blender version.
he didn't even go into making the coffee cup, and stuff that he complained about in the previous tutorial (like the sprinkles intersecting each other) and that is solved in this version is still there.
As far as i have seen, the changes between version 2.8 and version 3, interface wise, are not that big to guarantee an "updating" of these tutorials, but even Grant Abitt released an update of his beginner tutorial series for this version, unless i'm missing something.
@hideki@gameliberty.club Blender sure has a long way. They used to have so much shitty UX like not being able to revert stuff, selecting with the right mouse-button and other stuff. I got into blender again a few days ago for a project. I have to say blender 3 sure is nice.
One strong point blender sure has is that you can get a tutorial for so much stuff. So with enough time and effort even I as a novice can make cool stuff in it.
