MFW a page tells me to buy pro to get the full experience without Ads.

@hideki
I saw a stand of "Youtube music" in front of school.

They told me, that for a small fee, I will be able to listen to music without ads...

Deep down, I knew they weren't joking, but I just couldn't put my finger on just how stupid that offer was.

@LukeAlmighty :meru_shrug: i guess the amount of population still unaware of adblockers are big enough to still try to get people to bite the bait.

Every now and then i hear someone trying to blast music through their big ass speakers from their phones only to play two ads between every song.

@hideki
That was the first part... but there is music on classical youtube too...

And that was the part that kinda blew my mind... :ablobonfire:

@hideki @LukeAlmighty some people refuse to use adblockers because… reasons, I guess.
@hideki @LukeAlmighty imagine not compiling music into uninterrupted audiofiles and putting them on your phone to listen throughout the day to

@lina @hideki
Easy... I hate listening to music...
Podcasts though. Now that is a great background noise :ablobmeltsoblove:

@lina @LukeAlmighty i have a music player that plays the music on my phone/pc this way, as if it was an uninterrupted mix, and now i refuse to listen to it in any other way.

@Zerglingman @lina @LukeAlmighty

it's a player called 1by1 for pc (works in linux trough wine) and android. It has a feature where it can overlap the next track as the current one is fading out.

It's good because it will start playing the next track only if current one is below a certain volume, as to not overlap over tracks that do not fade out, but even then, it can also cut silences, so the next track starts playing immediately.

@hideki @LukeAlmighty @lina Interesting.
Not very compatible with my library.
I might recommend it to others.
