This post:
Strawman argument about a shit that never happened.
@policeinchains
The character on the left is from a comic that's literally what I described.
@matrix Well, show me then.
@matrix Tell me honestly, have you read any of this comics or are you running withwhat this *too cool for content warnings douche* told you xD
@policeinchains
Yes, but the Assigned Male website doesn't have them and archive.org takes forever to load.

Are we gonna put this to shit i think that never happens because i am not trans pile?
@policeinchains
Yes. X is literally killing trans people is a meme.
@matrix Trans people are literally subject to violence. Making a meme out of it makes as much sense as a creationist community making a meme out of "missing link".
@policeinchains
Depends where.
@policeinchains
I'm gonna go through them in a moment. My question is how many of them were motivated by the victim being trans?
@policeinchains
Most of these are still under investigation, some don't even have a suspect and motive is stated only once. This article is just fear mongering and gives no proof they died, because they were trans.
@policeinchains
Wait a sec, I need a VPN for this one.
@matrix Plus these are just muders, here's a piece about hate crimes against lgbtq in london
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/29294810/
@matrix You will need institutional access tho. https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/factcheck-how-many-trans-people-murdered-uk
Here in the passing gives numbers
"On that basis, we calculate that the police recorded 545 violent hate crimes against trans people in England and Wales in 2017-18. Of those, 149 crimes resulted in injury."
@policeinchains
This article doesn't really enforce your case: "The limited data weâre working with suggests that in the UK at least, a trans person is less likely to be murdered than the average person."
@matrix ð Raed whole of it
@policeinchains
I have.
"Until we have those official statistics, we should handle the data we do have with care. Â Anyone that tells you this is clear-cut â on either side of this often vexed debate â is wrong."
@matrix It is not arguable that police recorded 545 violent hate crimes against trans people, muder rate isn't fixed because of the method, it can me lesser or more i showed that link to prove that violent hate crimes against trans people is something happening. I said in the beggining, put aside murder numbers.
@matrix Here's a proof that in England and Wales 149 people got injured because they were trans in two years.
@policeinchains
That isn't that much since for a country of 66 million with transpeople making up approximately 500k. However this is probably the most solid data available.
@matrix Also, in the same text you've read, it said according to a survey 4 out of 5 trans person didn't report violence they've encountered to police. And this is not counting all the other kinds of discrimination they encounter. Point is not whether it is much or not, point is that is exists and people have enough reason to be worried about. Any hate crime is too much by definition.
@matrix
"But itâs worth bearing in mind that the recorded number of trans murder victims is so small that it would only take one or two more murder cases every year for the UK âtrans murder rateâ to double or triple."
"According to the latest Home Office figures, police recorded 1,651 hate crime offences against trans people in England and Wales in 2017-18. Nine per cent involved âviolence against the person with injuryâ and a further 24 per cent involved âviolence against the person without injuryâ."
"On that basis, we calculate that the police recorded 545 violent hate crimes against trans people in England and Wales in 2017-18. Of those, 149 crimes resulted in injury."
@policeinchains
While it's weird there's no indication that it's transphobia.
@matrix Okay, it's hard to prove murder. Let's look at violent hate crime.
@policeinchains
And the report is the same.
@matrix Yeah, i was saying that
@matrix Murder investigations don't usually close that fast and police even today fuck up classifying trans people, i can't find statistics of murder for further past for that.
@matrix This article explains in first paragraph that some of these murders have a clear bias. Finding proof in not yet ended investigations is not their job. You don't think %23 of trans murders taking place in same place is random?
