@matrix Backup everything locally, no matter how secure online services tell you they are. Make multiple backups of the really important stuff (passwords, hentai) in multiple physical locations in case your house burns down.

This is kinda why I don't do Cloud backups. I've seen so many articles and tech guys advising people do Cloud backups for their data, and all I can think is: are you insane? I have more faith in my external drive. I'd rather backup to DVDs. I'd rather backup to millions of floppy disks.

Sure, if you have nothing else, at least do cloud backup. But only if you can do it free. If you're going to pay money, get some external drives, or if you have the tech expertise, make yourself a NAS.
