So it's decided, the government is forbidding free movement that isn't related to your job, buying food, health care and taking care of the your relatives.
They will announce it soon.

@dyske I have no idea what's next. We don't have enough cops and soldiers for martial law.

@matrix you see the number of infected will only increase. What will they do once it reaches hudreds of thousands? They will run out of panic by then

@dyske You can never run out of panic. :lul:
That the numbers are going to increase is a given. You need to slow down the spread so that the health care system can handle the severe cases. If you had the disaster scenario of 70% of the population getting infected, that would be hundreds of thousands needing intensive care and intubation (if I remember the numbers correctly). You physically can't do that in the span of a month or two.

@matrix So jealous. I wish people here took it that seriously.

@rasterman How bad is where you are? Quarantine is a bit extreme in here as we only have 189 cases, but if I'm eyeballing it correctly, it's one new case every hour. Hopefully quarantine will stop the spread. Vast majority of the sick got it in Italy on vacation, so if they don't spread it, it should be fine.

@matrix @rasterman They've already spread it. The window for containment closed in January.

@Ricotta @rasterman They returned like a week ago and they were supposed to quarantine themselves. It's true some haven't and even lied to doctors that they weren't there. That's how one nurse got it.

@matrix We have lower numbers than you here; but it's slowly increasing every two or three days. I highly suspect the problem is not limited to the capital, as it seems right now.

It's not quarantine time here yet; but I don't like the chillax attitude the government is having.

As far as I saw, our infected people became so because of travels to Europe and are in specific locations of the country.

Really, it's big cities that are in danger, as usual. And I live in one. ( ͡ಠ ʖ̯ ͡ಠ)
@matrix Hey Qanon you forgot your cryptic letters
@karen @dyske @mathis @matrix it was also referenced by an email i got from the branch office manager, i mean, it wouldn't be surprising, it's been already 24+ hours without that idiot announcing something new.

@karen @pony @mathis @dyske Just wait, you will see I was right.
I saw the document, but the person who showed to me refused to forward it.
So the source is: Dude, trust me

@matrix @karen @dyske @pony This made the management finally decide to let us work from home. Their email read something like: "We're sorry we have to do this. Try to be as productive as possible to minimize economic impact". And I was under the impression that they were semi-competent
