I don't think many animals would eat meat (chickens would, cows probably not) and dead humans are probably low on fat which is something the animals need in the winter.

I was thinking about it in terms of IRL. Yeah, in Rimworld it makes sense however I wouldn't want to risk the mood of the people doing it.
Plus, my colonists in Rimworld need to keep themselves busy and there is no better way to increase medical skill than to harvest teh organs of someone who wanted you dead and raped.
