Nah, I think burying them in a field gives you a better long term effect because they serve as fertilizer.

I don't think many animals would eat meat (chickens would, cows probably not) and dead humans are probably low on fat which is something the animals need in the winter.

I was thinking about it in terms of IRL. Yeah, in Rimworld it makes sense however I wouldn't want to risk the mood of the people doing it.
