Depending on how you look at it, vaccines aren't necessarily normal/natural. So he's not exactly hypocritical, if that's what your thinking.
Also, promoting something is not the same as mandating.

Good point, the problem is the assumption natural = healthy and the definition of natural.
I still think that vaccine mandates are a good counter, because he is arguing about societal health and for strengthening, even by force, the weakest links.
