@matrix depending on the drug, you can come back in 4 months and give a clean sample and continue processing. The only tattoos that are problems are those that are racist, gang related, vulgar, or obscene. You can even have neck tattoos in the Army. And hand tattoos. Obesity is an problem though and catches a lot of kids trying to join.

@matrix this and shit conditions across the armed forces doesn't help recruitment much either (i.e. US Navy scapegoating its own sailors for mishaps, the Navy refusing to report suicide rates, the Army giving advancement points to people who got cheated on by their spouse to try and retain them, etc.)

In Ukraine, a lot of the foreign volunteers come from countries like Colombia which have become CIA vassals.
