Why does pippa have the toddler pencil grip? I thought that was just a black thing. Wtf is wrong with American schools?

@matrix @mangeurdenuage Motor skill thing

I had a girl in my class like that
but she wasn't dumb

naturally gifted with perfect pitch too

What's perfect pitch ?
The only thing I can do is to write with both hands.
@mangeurdenuage @matrix just pointing out she's not retarded even though she writes like this

she can still be of use

@mangeurdenuage you hold a pen between you thumb and index finger for better control over the tip

@mangeurdenuage they didn't teach it at school or did you just forget because everything is written on a computer anyway? i honestly do have to think for a sec before writing some letters in cursive

@matrix @mangeurdenuage i hold my pen like this except instead of it resting on my middle finger it rests on my ring finger. always been that way. so maybe kind of like pippa's grip except my thumb is toward the tip instead.

i can't remember if they actually taught us how to hold a pencil or not. i have noticed that a lot of girls have this grip though whereas guys tend to have one closer to the picture. i had a girlfriend with pippa's grip that was super into calligraphy.

speculation

@matrix she filmed through the camera, probably at weird angle. but maybe parietal or frontal lobe damage. don't think it's dysgraphia. she is bipolar and probably in depressive phase, gave up on writing only a page in. I think she could write nicer, but she didn't want to.

speculation

@kaia possible, but generally things that are trained well come naturally even in bad situations

re: speculation

@matrix she didn't go to college. possibly didn't write for a few years. and american education system sucks.

less likely is that she intentionally wrote badly to not give away her real handwriting.
