@Mr_NutterButter 0. Portable AC is cheap, but feels like ewaste due to it being inefficient and proper AC being possible. And proper AC feels too expensive (and lot of work to install) for something that would run only for like 24h per year.
But if a second heatwave comes, as some models are now predicting, I'm just going to buy the portable one.
