The left, opposing militarized violence, supports the violent terrorist group #antifa.
The right supports companies' rights to do as they please in not funding abortions but not in mandating masks
The left is against racism and yet calls black people coons and race traitors for voting for #Trump
The right is against cancel culture and is now leading organized boycotting campaigns
It is hard to find people with principles nowadays.

Principles are a pillar to build society, bit it is a chain when negotiating with people without them.
The age of principles is over. It died 4 years ago and will not return until both sides are ready to uphold them.
@LukeAlmighty Fight using principles and you fight for a cause. Fight without them and you're fighting for yourself.
If you really believe that, then you will be happy, when they come and hang yet another man who held his principles.
Principles are amazing at growing your character and at building a stable society, nut if you believe in them, you must be willing to break them in order to keep them alive.
And please, don't reply with another "feel good quote". Posting quotes shows lack of examination of your thoughts.

You're asking me to base my behaviour based on a moral framework you know not only does not apply for me, but I am not even sure is unified for christians.
Try an example, that does not cantain a being X that makes all suffering, your eventual death AND even destruction of your civilization justified after your death.
@LukeAlmighty My point is you're completely wrong about the need to break principles. Breaking principles kills them, it does not make them survive.
The ends do not justify the means.

@LukeAlmighty Well let's look at the mask hypocrites on the right. A principled approach would be to say "hey, if the government is forcing mask mandates, I'll violate them as peaceful protest. But, if a business doesn't want people with masks in the store and that's their decision and not the government's, i will go somewhere else." After all, many of these people support the autonomy of businesses to do whatever they see fit.
However, the unprincipled will break the rules and refuse to leave, even if they are told to do so by the owners. Which is trespassing btw.
So, do the mask hypocrites really respect private property? Do they really respect private businesses? Or do they really respect those freedoms so far as they align with what they believe, or it's convenient for them?

Funny that you used that example, because the universally agreed uppon principle was, that shops should serve everyone no matter their opinions, religion, social status etc. There was even a huge debate over a baker being unwilling to write a text on gay customers cake.
So, once again we are at the point, where one side demands principed approach, but refuses to uphold principles to the other side.
In short, principled society is already dead, and it will not be restored until we force the other side to uphold the principles they demand from others.
