There is a wizard of legend some believe has gone mad. Some people know him as Markus, but most know him by Notch. He created a magic so unthinkable that, when unleashed, changed the world forever. Holding so much power, an evil demon lord sought to snatch it from him, making an offer that Notch couldn't refuse. Notch wouldn't have to work a day in his life, if he only gave his magic to the demon lord. This magic is much for a mere mortal to hold, and Notch, being one such, couldn't continue to hold it.

Now, seeing what has become of his game and the state of the world as his magic has been controlled by evil powers, he hides away in his tower in the hills, no longer working with the magic he once had the fire to create.

One by one, Notch's allies began to fall from grace alongside him. The demon lord was ruthless, trying to end the realm of man as we know it. Demons of his ilk and those he had under his boot of corrupt religion slowly replaced Notch's allies one by one, until none remained but the very few who shed their loyalties.

Many people hate Notch. Some feel sorry for him. Personally, I side with those who think that he could combat this magic and repent of his cardinal sin if only he possessed the fire to create magic once more. In a devastating twist of fate, the Indian demon lord not only changed the fate of the world, but forever doomed the lonely wizard.

We can only hope that one day, another mad wizard will take his spot and develop a magic so catastrophic that it vanquishes malignant forces. Until that day, we wait... wait for another Notch.
