it seems the definition of "bricked console" has changed from being a literal brick that you can't do anything with to getting a console ban and only being able to play physical games or digital ones that were already on the console.

this is how you know how many tourists there are walking around the internet these days, trying to read what is basically a foreign language and just assuming they know what everything is.

wtf are you supposed to call a bricked console now in order to get them to understand the difference? a cooked console?
