@hideki Why are you using VCD? That's like the worst digital video format ever.
@hideki Blank DVDs are pretty cheap these days. Almost nobody uses them except for giving/selling recordings at events. As for modern DVD drives reading them, it depends on if it can read standard CDs as a VCD is basically an ordinary CD with an MPEG-1 file burnt onto it. I think most of them do given that the external DVD drive I bought recently can read them. It can even read CD-i discs.
