@beardalaxy Unreal Engine 4 has blueprints which is similar to this, but I never used Unreal so I can't say that much else about it. UML is used to plan out the structure of a program before you start actually programming. I think a lot of visual programming "languages" are inspired by it.

It's going to be locked behind amiibos or some shit like that and they're going to leave out some key franchises like F-Zero.

This program is just an inferior clone to other game makers like Fuze which is also on the Nintendo Switch. Fuze also has both visual scripting and Lua.
