>if Game Freak just released a set of turds, one called Pokemon Hard Stool, the other called Pokemon Watery Diarrhea.

They're saving those titles for when they outsource their programming team to India.

@xianc78 @ChristiJunior @meeper @coolboymew pokemon has become oversold hot garbage, so know what, i think its about time something overtook the throne. Something similar to pokemon, but not a blatant clone, something made with heart and with the cringe subtracted. If i ever hot into game development i always wanted to try an idea of a more serious version of pokemon. Not edgy, but getting creative with how pokemon like creatures would be used in the real world. Imagine battling on the frontlines with pokemon like creatures in a sort of world war… sounds neat, right?
@ItsSkyDragonz
This is going to make someone mad, but Pokemon stopped being interesting by gen3, when it became apparent that they weren't interested in advancing the games beyond the scope of the original 8-bit experience.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is what the original Diamond and Pearl should have been like. They should have released on the Wii with online trading.

Pokemon should have switched to an action based battle system on the N64. Every fight is a duel and you already have 4 C buttons. What a missed opportunity.

@Senpai-kun @ChristiJunior @meeper @natsock @ItsSkyDragonz @coolboymew But the GameBoy games didn't have huge 3D worlds. Combine 3D models and a shit-ton of text, and you will have a difficult time cramming that in. There was a reason why all the JRPGs were on PlayStation of Saturn.

Was red/blue that big? I'm starting to think this calls for scientific autism.
