I like it that sometimes I can hear the trains from where I live, when they pass through the station. They use the horn and then you hear the "swooooosh".
I dont live exactly right next to the train station but since its just a couple of streets away, I can hear it. Same as I can hear the clock bell from the town hall, also a couple of streets away.

@enigmatico I live next to a railroad track and it's fucking hell. Everytime a train goes by, there is a fucking earthquake.
@xianc78 I was just thinking, how bad it would be to live right next to one...

@enigmatico Okay, not really next to one, but it is behind all the houses across the street from me. It's also a freight train, so if it derails, then it would be a disaster. Luckily that has never happened.
