The ironic thing about feminism is that it's anti-woman. Instead of letting women be themselves (which feminism is allegedly all about), it encourages them to suppress their femininity and try to be more masculine. It shames women for being feminine or adopting traditional gender roles even if it makes them happier, which it usually does as studies have shown.

In worst cases, it makes women afraid of men and vice versa. In that case the MGTOW movement is just as bad.

It's nothing but a tool to divide us. There is nothing liberating about it.

@xianc78 MGTOW only really exists >because< of feminism. they aren't afraid of women, they're just tired of them.

Feminism wouldn't have succeeded if masculinity was anything but servitude. But you're welcome to be delusional about female nature. Being pushy and entitled and getting privileges at cost to society is not masculine of women in the slightest. To pretend otherwise is to agree with what feminists have been pushing, that male instinct to protect women (the masculinity in the real sense) was about abusing them instead.
The difference is, feminism is women being brainwashed by gloybohomos into being like that, whereas MGTOW is men coming to the conclusion that it's just not worth it to basically run all of soyciety and funding women's privileages only to then get to heard how toxic we all are, how everything is our fault, and all that.
It is pretty obviously that. But it's also an ideology, and all ideologies are tools to divide us, that should also be obvious. Feminism was theoretically supposed to be about women not being lesser for being women and having female traits, but now it's all about demonizing those female traits because men happen to like those. And it makes women miserable and turned them into slaves to the system, and made everyone poorer as well by forcing women to compete with men. And of course, it was intentional. The entire system hasn't pushed history in this direction by accident, and it wouldn't still be pushed today if it didn't lead to the exact outcome that they wanted.
