I don't know why would anyone care about wokeness in movies after realizing that the US government has been infiltrating Hollywood with their propaganda for decades. It's really just best to stick to really old films, B-movies, and independent films.
@xianc78 nope.
The main character in Tron Legacy physically steals a big corporation's software and releases it for free because that was the creator's intention xD
Alita is an alien who fought against Earth on the side of Mars, which is mostly just back story to explain why she's so athletic and good at fighting. The actual story is about taking down corruption and greed in many forms.
Blade Runner 2049 sees a Replicant (fake human) blade runner (rogue replicant killer) going rogue himself and trying to piece together his past, all the while fighting against the corporation who makes Replicants who is trying to prevent him from discovering the truth about the old models he's been destroying (they were too independent).
In this sort of cyberpunk setting there is always a struggle between good and corruption, usually in the form of corporations or governments.
In Tron Legacy, it's a little bit of corporate greed at the beginning but mostly it is a fight against an imperfect AI trying to enact perfection, becoming corrupt because of that. It's an interesting twist on the more typical "corrupt government/corporation" trope.
