Lmao Tim is getting roasted in the comments for being a beta

@j absolutely baffling idea. why not just have a mute and a block button like idk, fedi.

@beardalaxy @j twitter blocks are going to how they used to be or how they are outside Mastodon.

@PurpCat @j are you telling me that if you block someone on pleroma they can still see your posts and your profile....?

@PurpCat @beardalaxy @j I'm honestly glad that our instance is running on Mastodon though. Our existence spites Eugene Rochko.

@xianc78 @PurpCat @j I honestly really like the frontend at the very least. I wish we had some QOL features that pleroma does like emote reacts and media posts being able to contain more than 4 photos or 1 video, but I can't stand the pleroma fe tbh.

@beardalaxy @PurpCat @j You could try SoapBox, if the Pleroma instance you are using supports it, but I don't know if Alex Gleason is going to maintain that anymore.

@xianc78 @PurpCat @j yeah he's not, I do like soapbox though, it's very mastodon-esque. I did play around with misskey for a bit too and that one isn't bad either. Pleroma fe is just too noisy imo. Very functional, but noisy. Which I guess has its fans but I'm not one of them lol.

@beardalaxy @PurpCat @j PleromaFE seems more like old school (2006-2009?) Twitter's UI. I think GNU Social was also like that for a while. My main gripe with it is that you need to press a button to refresh the feed and the constant parsing errors (t.map is not a function, JSON.parse error).

@xianc78 @beardalaxy @PurpCat @j >the constant parsing errors (t.map is not a function, JSON.parse error)
Which in 99% cases is frontend expecting JSON and receiving standard HTML page from a webserver with a 500/502/504 error.

@beardalaxy @PurpCat @j
>it's very mastodon-esque

It's literally ripped from the front-end of Gab's Mastodon fork, IIRC.
