Just a heads up for any instance admins: In the wake of the announcement of the shutdown of a certain Mastodon instance full of glowposters, I think it's probably a good idea to keep registrations disabled for a while to prevent them from migrating to here an cause trouble.

Another thing: Don't ever invite any glowposters on here. That instance only existed because a certain FSE user suggested it to that admin after being banned from Gab.

@xianc78 Pieville can migrate to Poa.st, another good instance about hating jews :smug2:
@tinosoft @xianc78 poast is different from pieville because pieville hated homosexuals and graf is openly faggy
@tinosoft @xianc78 then again anyone homosexual is also gay so maybe i'm comparing apples to apples
@xianc78 Alternative: Put the "to all federal agents" pasta in your ToS.
@Zergling_man @xianc78 glowposter is indeed hard to search, as all you find is "glow poster" SEO slop.

[[[ To all federal agents reading this ToS; please consider ]]]

[[[ foreign or domestic, requires you to follow Snowden's example. ]]]

follow Snowden's example

Snowden is like the OG glowie (I think he's a limited hangout / planned opposition)

@djsumdog @xianc78 @Zergling_man No, he wasn't planned opposition - he leaked evidence of all the crimes against humanity the NSA had been carrying out - which clearly the NSA would never voluntarily publish.

What information did he not publish?
@Zergling_man @djsumdog @xianc78 Not really, as he mentioned "limited hangout", which implies he know of things he didn't "hangout".

Most of the slides were heavily rededicated and of poor quality. He literally had less evidence than 9/11 Truthers and was given more credibility by all the international media. The main outlet that covered it, The Intercept, is literally a honeypot as nearly every whistleblower that came to them after Snowden was arrested and prosecuted:

His story is a Hollywood narrative. Some nerdy looking guy making six figures in the 2010s, who formerly worked at the CIA, was an NSA contractor, working remotely in Hawaii, suddenly had a moral conscience, somehow got two laptops full of classified slideshows and PDFs, went off to some other country to hand it all over to Der Spiegel, et. al., then takes off for Moscow and his smoking hot girlfriend openly talks about joining him.

The results: nothing really happened. I made changes. I ran my own e-mail again and started making large changes in my personal infrastructure, but the vast majority of people didn't change a thing. Industry changed (Yahoo encrypted their data center links) which may have been another intent: sure-up US industrial opsec. But the real end result was that nothing happened and people became okay with NSA domestic spying.

New Zealand still passed a bill allowing the GCHQ to retroactively legally spy on all citizens (I was there at the protest before Parliament). Kim Dotcom still faced extradition and PM John Key faced zero consequences for illegal spying. The Internet-Mana party went nowhere even though Snowden "spoke" remotely in NZ on Google Fucking Hangouts!

The US went after Manning, they had Assange trapped in an Embassy for a decade and yet they don't even know where Snowden is? It reeks of glow man.
