@VD15 @matrix I get why one would put functional programming in a course, its something that exists and could be useful one day. But if your students want to have a shot at the job market, give them something that is actually desired by employers, not some esoteric shit like Haskell.
I work for a Scala shop and finding programmers are fucking hard to find as opposed to the regular really hard. Who the fuck wants Haskell with their fake testimonials on their site and a negligible userbase?
