What gave them strength was a national character, borne from an appreciation of their ancestors and the maintenance of their unique cultures.

Look at America now. People can’t even appreciate their founding fathers without being called raysist Neeezi.

In Europe (especially in Western Europe) it’s similar. People are dumping statues into the Thames because they lived in a time when slavery was still a thing.

A people with no connection to their own past/blood will die out.
