The real "Trad" position is to support and expand children's rights, to be open in discussions about child-sexuality (and sexuality in general), and to rekindle the view that consensual non-abusive relations between children and adults are normal.
Many "Trad" LARPers are only "Trad" in a supposed Christian context.
Yet non-Christian tradition (i.e. Greco-Roman) goes back way further, and the further back you go, the "Trad-er" you are.
And even then, many "Christians" get caught over and over again for being pederasts or pedophiles.
Yet Christian "Trad" LARPers hyper-focus on Jews and Muslims, as if they are the only ones who engage in such practices.
Original Milo Yiannopoulos (before his "gay conversion therapy") was right. Pederasty/pedophilia is actually a non-issue. The "harm" that comes from it is due to social responses and stigma.

The idea of accepted homosexuality and pederasty (which really was just semi-expected rape) were badly seen in greek society and many parents hired guards to protect their children from pederasts. The pedophilia embraced by conservatism is not one of liberation, but one of submission and adult chauvinism
I think views on homosexuality/pederasty in ancient Greece depended on what city state you were in. There's also the view that the "stigma" only applied to the "sub" (this is because there was no understanding of "x-sexuality" then). So, the reason parents hired protectors for their children would be to prevent their child being seen as the sub instead of the dom. It was about family honor, essentially.

I do agree with the general point tho, that "right-wing"/"conservative" pedophilia is not good enough. Full liberationist pedophilia is much better at addressing fundamental social problems.

The mothers would suck their sons off as children so they'd be healthy and happy, I'm not sure how they felt about gay sex but sex was not only normal but encouraged between adults and very young children. Richard Hanania was posting about how a society which jails a female adult for having sexual contact with a 13 year old boy was "sick beyond belief".
There was a libertarian-type guy who tried running for office, and he basically was advocating for legalizing CP and child-prostitution. I can't remember whether he was sent to jail or killed by police in a shootout...
