No. I won't pretend to know your preferred age-range or whatever the proper nomanclature is, but if it's less than or equal to primary school-age, then that's a definitive no. Naivety in children is highly valued and it's a clear indication of good parenting. Parents who can afford to, will always go to infinity and beyond to not expose their young children to real-world problems unnecessarily, since they value their child's life and physical + mental well-being. Just because you find them endearing, like how you'd think of a pet, does not make them ready for serious romantic / sexual relationships. I really don't know who you're referring to, so I'm going to throw out a few examples in regards to that:

I am assuming that Gab's primary goal is to compete with mainstream Social Networking Sites (such as Twitter) by using free-speech as its Unique Selling Point. It's important to state this, otherwise we're not on the same page.
Niche beliefs like "Jews run xyz indistries" sounds unhinged to the average normie, unrelated to the factual validity of such claim.
Having normal users that are just tired of Twitter's bullshit be greeted by such content (from the official Gab account run by the founder of the platform, no less) is just too much of a jump. They're going to be intimidated and have a dystopian outlook of alt-tech as a whole.
Hence, keeping Gab's front page as apolitical as possible isn't for the sake of appeasing ban-happy app marketplaces, but for attracting and keeping as wide a userbase as they can reach in order to compete with the likes of mainstream social media companies.
Additionally, whilst it is true that they can just unfollow Torba's account and he can say whatever he wants on his account, first impressions are important. Remember when you first signed up for twitter or youtube. If the first tweet or video you saw on those platforms was made by the official page and contained Social Justice-type, men can have abortions, it's good for kids < 10yo to explore their sexuality, etc. content, you probably wouldn't have signed up in the first place, or deleted your account immediately. Alt-tech IS a new concept just emerging into the mainstream as of now, so treating new users with care and professionalism ensures that they have a good experience and stay on those platforms. Which in turn allows them to compete with big-tech.

@ocean @BitBun Have to disagree. Half the time it's people complaining their comment got deleted by shadowy, paranormal forces. Half the time it happens to you. Youtube comment section is too bare-bones in its design to create meaningful replies, or easily-readable "threads". That is, unless you want to scroll through 350 comments worth of off-topic/de-railed dabating and typo corrections. Sometimes you need to decipher and extrapolate the point of a deleted comment to understand a reply.
