"Traps aren't gay" is a popular meme used by allegedly "straight" men who claim that having sex with crossdressers doesn't make them gay. It's just another ridiculous way closeted homosexuals and bisexuals try to rationalize their same sex attractions as being "straight".

@Juju@spinster.xyz @rewired Is this the female equivalent of "straight" men insisting "traps aren't gay" after sleeping with another man? Bisexuals in denial, or just straights taking advantage of LGBT people for a bit of emotional fulfillment? I don't get it.

@shebang What's worse, it often seems as if the "community" pushes them to do that, too. From my experience on tumblr, and some other sites, the community pushes people in those groups to define themselves as trans, regardless of dysphoria. I've even seen people encouraging effeminate males and crossdressers to take HRT to become "cuter", telling them that they don't even need to be trans to take it.

@shebang I've never understood how someone can claim to be trans without feeling dysphoria.
