@maxmustermann Using an example of the highly corrupt country with a (continuing) history of statist authoritarianism as to why a libertarian free market solution won't work doesn't make sense.

What I'm proposing isn't in action in South Africa because the options aren't readily available there. That is merely a case of the rich being able to hire additional protection, not even remotely what we are talking about here.

But every cop I've ever heard make a comment about the notion of banning qualified immunity says something to the effect of, "that would just cause us not to enforce laws because we might get sued" - which is precisely what folks like you and I are aiming for! 😃​

"Antifa isn't organized" is one of the more obvious shitlib lies I've heard in the past few years. There's a mountain of evidence showing that they organize on Twitter, Discord, and even dedicated sites like It's Going Down. They receive funding from (((the usual suspects))) and protection from the police, judges, and FBI (the latter of which even uses Antifa to collect info that would be illegal for police to obtain). Then Antifa uses their organization to harass and inflict violence on uppity white people.

All of this is obvious and easily verifiable if you just stop listening to the media.

@moonman @shpuld seconding this. it's common knowledge in the US that you DO NOT TALK TO COPS, EVER. everything you say and do WILL be used against you, guaranteed, and only a trained lawyer (ideally not a pubic defender) can talk to them safely. US cops are trained in various psychological tricks for everything from keeping people from asking for a lawyer up to and including extracting false confessions. every interaction with a cop is something they are going to try to spin into evidence they can use to convict you for something, anything, and every word you say to them is more rope for them to hang you with.
