I log on to the fediverse. I look at some posts. I chuckle a little. But then a brainwave strikes me.
I grasp the mouse cursor, move it into the text box, and gently press the left clicker. All birds in a 2 mile radius hear this and fear my power. They simultaneously take off and begin flying away.
I stretch my hands over the keyboard. The ground shakes slightly. Low synth music can be heard.
I take a breath, and am ready to compose a masterpiece. I allow my fingers to land on the mechanical switches, three thudding keystrokes echoing through the house.
I look up at the monitor. I feast my eyes on the compose box. Black writing stares back at me from the other side. Three letters, chilling and foreboding:

@sim Kids are dumb and kids who think they aren't dumb are the dumbest of all. That makes them very easy to take advantage of.
Personally I think a tiered system would be ideal. Before you're 18 or 16 or whatever, current age + something rather small like 2-4 years would be fine. A 15 year old dating a 17 year old probably isn't an issue, but a 15 year old dating a 20 year old probably is, and a 15 year old dating a 30 year old definitely is. The tricky part is picking the exact numbers.
