twitter like in-post tagging is garbage and i'm a little bit sad that "tumblr-like" software was never developed because it'd be perfect for fedi
other than it being corporate-bound trash, tumblr pretty much had the best system with it's lack of text limit, tagging system, and content warnings (plus, it has a html/markdown editor that's still superior to anything mastodon has offered, and only one! app supports pleroma's markdown)
