I can now see posts made after the "lizard people" post but still can't see anything older than it on my home timeline. All other timelines seem to be working correctly. That's weird.

twitter like in-post tagging is garbage and i'm a little bit sad that "tumblr-like" software was never developed because it'd be perfect for fedi
other than it being corporate-bound trash, tumblr pretty much had the best system with it's lack of text limit, tagging system, and content warnings (plus, it has a html/markdown editor that's still superior to anything mastodon has offered, and only one! app supports pleroma's markdown)
