To deny them sex in an environment where they would be abused if they weren't denied sex is the right thing to do. That's why it's not ok to have sex with anyone who doesn't have full rights. If kids had full rights they could consent, but they don't have full rights. Eventually all life will be digital and it won't matter because an 8 year old could have an adult body and you wouldn't know, you'd think you were talking to an adult.
