The word "abuser" has been ruined by the radical left and the radical right. Everyone who flirts awkwardly or who fucks "the wrong people" is labeled an "abuser". Congrats. We told you this would happen in the threads as they were going on but did anyone, from either side, listen? Too few apparently.

I think the word the left used was "rapist"...
But yeah, the rest is on poont.
@LukeAlmighty And now the right and left have moved on to outright calling each other pedophiles. Next is either bad stuff that gets out of hand like lynchings, or people tire out the word "pedophile" to the point where, like abuser, when people hear it they just tune the fuck out because of the absolute fatigue relating to the messaging. I take rape irl seriously despite what SOME people seem to think, and I can't blame them, I joke a lot and write fucked up fictional stories and share rape coded art from time to time. Yet irl I am against rape, I've talked about my gfs rape, and how it effected her and me. I would love it if every rapist was to go away. My definition of rape is the use of force or coercion, regardless of age differences. Some people get really pissed about that. Which I understand to a degree, but I think they're being immature.
@LukeAlmighty I've also talked about my own molestation, which also obviously effected me for a long time, though not for the reasons that many seem to think. I believe exposure to sexuality in a sex negative society does have negative consequences, one example would be the child would have either attractions or aversions that would be abnormal, and would lead to them feeling isolated, which will increase the chance of future abuse. It's a bad cycle. But in a sex positive society any abuse would be viewed as the same as any other kind of assault, it would not have the taint of shame/taboo that would make the child some sort of tragic spiritually disfigured untouchable caste of person.
