Couldn't be me
@bitterblossom @grumpy @scramblecore@nnia.space @prouddegenerate No idea, haven't played that hard in a long time, I run a little zombo sacrifice/grave but the main focus is on making you discard, can't do your thing if I keep your cards out of your hand. Duress, Dreams of Steel and Oil, Virus Beetle, and a poppet stitcher to buff all my tokens, etc.
@bitterblossom @grumpy @scramblecore@nnia.space @prouddegenerate Yes true, it's hard because mono always has gaps and multicolor has the huge risk of being slow. I have a theory that a colorless deck is best, or mostly colorless with lots of ways to create any mana. Mirrodin is what maked me think that.
they balance shit though and each block is different, but generally a two color deck is best bc you can mix up advantages and erase disadvantages.
really though it depends on your focus, any color or combo of colors is viable if you design your deck tught around its focus and have some side stuff to flip the tables if the opponent has something to counter your main
