@gloomyflower yeah but only one person at a time can use the library’s copy, just like with any paid-for copy of something. when someone buys one Media and uploads it online, hundreds or thousands of people can use that same copy at the same time.
@zombiefemboy @gloomyflower What's stopping someone from calling up libraries until they find one that has the digital copy available for rent and renting it from them? I understand the point is to keep it 1/1 with how physical borrowing works but it's not 1/1 because I can't teleport to different libraries until I find one that has a physical copy, I can do that online with libraries and digital copies though.

@Jazzy_Butts @gloomyflower i think the thing stopping you is that you would need a library card at all of those libraries, and you can only get them as a resident of the area that library is located in.
