@Jazzy_Butts @luciumferum capitalism is why we are even allowed to make any kind of money doing what we're doing it isn't inheritedly bad just exploited by bad people.

@KobraArcane @luciumferum Capital means profit, profit by definition requires exploitation. Economics can be fair, capitalism is when it's not fair, the exchanges are not equal, someone is getting ripped off, that's what makes it capitalism.

@KobraArcane @luciumferum Without capitalism every artist would be paid fairly what buyers were willing to pay, with no mercantile middle man class to buy a good for as cheap as possible and then sell it elsewhere for as much as possible, the mercantile class must by necessity exploit both the worker and consumer. Merchants act like they're serving a valuable service at a fair price, but that's a trick, for them to make a profit, which is their goal, they must exploit, profit requires non-equivilance, 1 hour of labor is not being tradded for 1 hour of labor, one lb of potatoes is not being tradded for one pair of shoes, a scammer is traveling between poor communities, one that has all potatoes and one that has all shoes, and he scalps a pair of shoes for more potatoes than they're worth, because the people are desperate, and so are submitting to exploitation, rather than die from their feet falling off, and then he takes the potatoes to the community that's starving and scalps them above value for more shoes than they're worth, rinse and repeat, add generational transfer of wealth, and you have a new system of slavery called capitalism where the slaves submit themselves because they've been tricked into thinking they're not slaves.

@Jazzy_Butts what isn't smart is implying you can educate people by throwing links at them after speaking nonsense.....unchecked capitalism is a part of the same systems we use every single day to make the money we want.

@KobraArcane Capitalism has many checks on it, I cannot just make my own currency for example, that would not be accepted by any government for any fines, fees, or taxes.

@Jazzy_Butts why would you need to put something that doesn't have value for anyone but yourself in it. I've seen people say this and you realize the headache we'd deal with if Dave had his own currency and Sarah did too?.

@KobraArcane Yea, now you're getting it, we need one world currency, Dave (China) and Sarah (America) having different currencies is a headache. We all share the earth, there are private things we don't have to share, and that's ok, those things are our own special things, but there are other things we all have to share, like the air, and the water. This is starship earth, and we are one race, communism makes sense, capitalism makes no sense unless you're for the exploitation of the crew on starship earth and the needs of the few exceeding the needs of the many, which is gross 🤢
