I think I'm starting to figure out how to "compartmentalize" (a fancy word that means lying, or pretending something doesn't exist when it does), I'm starting to figure out this whole "privacy" thing. Things I do alone, for my own entertainment, that nobody cares about, are valid and I don't need to tell others about them to gauge their level of approval. I don't need to narcissistically feed off the validation of others. I don't need other people to give me permission to exist.
