💦 @bitterblossom I'm still not sure where that part of the myth came from, in Judaism satan (literally The Satan, similar to calling someone The Lawyer or The Prosecutor) was a loyal angel to God who prosecuted humans with charges against them. We don't even know if it was one guy, or just a title for whatever angel was Prosecutor at any given time.
@bitterblossom Many Satanists are straight up assholes though. Levayan satanism is literally hateful toward anyone disabled, they believe in eigenics, and are racists, but that all gets swept under the rug because since they oppose christians everyone assumes they must be hippies.
