@thegreatape I try to watch more theater stuff, like classic theater, broadway, Shakespeare and stuff, everything is real and it boosts the actors, I know it would boost me, seeing a spooky thing or a frilly thing in front of you triggers something instinctive in your monkey brain which creates a response that can't be recreated by a tennis ball on a stick.
I love how 80s movies had the climax in the middle of the movie, not at the end, or they had a couple of them spaced out. Movies today are nothing but ramp, big climax, end. This old style makes the movie feel longer, in a good way, it's like getting multiple movies in one, with better character development. A modern example of this same thing would be the marvel infinity stones movie. That movie had multiple climaxes, and then a big final ending one. Still though not as endearing or memorable as older movies with less cgi and action.
