This is the version I read and it's what made me appreciate Shakespeare, Julius Caesar doesn't come across as a tyrant in the story and so it's the one thing that's a bit confusing. Know that Shakespeare considered Julius Caesar to be a tyrant and he was considered to be a tyrant by the people of the time that Shakespeare was writing in, and so he didn't really have to explain that he was a tyrant in the story, everyone just knew. It would be like if somebody made a play about Hitler today, you don't have to explain how Hitler is shitty the audience just knows.
