The good ones know what they're saying so they emphasize and emote properly helping you understand Shakespeares very dry sarcasm that can sometimes come across as total insanity if you're not aware he's being sarcastic.

@degen @ThrowawayAI Read Julius Caesar, find a version that has notes which explain the more cryptic lines. This is the version I read and it's what made me appreciate Shakespeare, Julius Caesar doesn't come across as a tyrant in the story and so it's the one thing that's a bit confusing. Know that Shakespeare considered Julius Caesar to be a tyrant and he was considered to be a tyrant by the people of the time that Shakespeare was writing in, and so he didn't really have to explain that he was a tyrant in the story, everyone just knew. It would be like if somebody made a play about Hitler today, you don't have to explain how Hitler is shitty the audience just knows.

@degen @ThrowawayAI I strongly suggest you find some modern "translations" of his stories, they are very good and I didn't realize that until I saw his work translated.
